[MKDoc-dev] Installation Success?

I think I've succeeded in installing MKDoc 1.8 from CVS.  I say
"think" because I can't seem to get it to do very much!  When I login
I'm at a page called "Root Document".  Across the top is a nav-bar
with links to Users, Add User, Audiences and Add Audience.  On the
right are links to my preferences, logout and login.  Conspicuosly
absent are links to edit content!  Am I missing something or is my
installation broken in some way?
