[Pangloss] status update 21-06-2003

Hi all,

Despite a server outage at the beginning of the week, development 
continued more-or-less as normal.  To sum it up:

  o	creator & date required for all objects.
  o	authentication segments now in place.
	(which means translators can add translations,
	 and proofreaders can modify statuses)
  o	started work on search code in the backend
