[MKSearch-dev] Previous incarnation of MKSearch

The last time we set about building MKSearch was over two years ago.

I've just been digging around the CVS server and found this 
part-finished perl version of MKSearch.  It can be checked-out from 
CVS like so:

  cvs -d:pserver:anoncvs at cvs.mkdoc.com:/var/spool/cvs login
  cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anoncvs at cvs.mkdoc.com:/var/spool/cvs co mksearch

(I can do a tar.gz archive if necessary)

At the very least it should give us some pointers.
