From jonathan at webarch.net Fri Nov 20 16:34:26 2015 From: jonathan at webarch.net (Jonathan) Date: Fri, 20 Nov 2015 16:34:26 +0000 Subject: [webarch-websites] Checking our draft website Message-ID: <564F4B92.7010207@webarch.net> Actually I haven't found any typos yet. I've just spent a bit of time looking at "Help", "Support" and "Contact" pages. I like what's been done, I've got a bit to add to "Help" (pasted below, this OK?) and I'd like to sugest maybe we don't need all three? What's done already at http://pure2.wsh.webarch.net/support is good. I suggest it could be OK used as the "Sysadmin" page? (In fact as it stands I *think* this page may be an orphan in the sense that there *may* be no menu that links to it? If so that leaves "Help" and "Contact" pages. Which is good. -------------------------------- MY TEXT SUGGESTION FOR "Help":- (by the way-phone; is it from 9 or 9.30am?) Help # Webarchitects tries to give a helpful, co-operative service. Questions questions, I'd need to give more thought .... ------------------------------- FINAL POINT: http://pure2.wsh.webarch.net/about I suggest remove " founded in 2011" this is repeated with fuller details in the text below. ------------------------------- Cheers for now :) Jonathan From chris at webarchitects.co.uk Fri Nov 20 20:42:55 2015 From: chris at webarchitects.co.uk (Chris Croome) Date: Fri, 20 Nov 2015 20:42:55 +0000 Subject: [webarch-websites] Checking our draft website In-Reply-To: <564F4B92.7010207@webarch.net> References: <564F4B92.7010207@webarch.net> Message-ID: <20151120204254.GH23097@webarchitects.co.uk> Hi Thanks for the input. I have used some of that on the contact page -- don't want to duplicate things too much... - http://pure2.wsh.webarch.net/contact > What's done already at http://pure2.wsh.webarch.net/support is good. Done, I think that page probably needs merging into the Ethics page? There is duplication of content and orphaned pages, the current set of pages we are working on are in this subversion repo (which anyone can check out): - https://svn.webarch.net/webarchcoop/webarch-pure/ Some things should probably be moved to the wiki. We also have some Nominet requirements to comply with by early December and Let's Encrypt is also launching in early December so that gives us a deadline to try to hit, which is probably a good thing...
