Well, I can always number 0.991...

But anyways it shouldn't be a big deal, I'm planning to release version
1.00 more or less on the 15th of July, date at which Petal will be
exactly one year from its initial release!

So that'll be an anniversary release :)

There is a section in P::RD called "Precompiling parsers". Have you
taken a look at that?
