Making progress with the build for FC4. I fixed the compilation of
the CVS version of JTidy in its own right, but that now requires an
upgrade to the GNU JAXP 1.3 release. There are several native
JAXP classes that need to be excluded for our purposes and many
tricky co-dependencies amongst the packages, so I have had to
pick through and re-write the bash build scripts. Not complete, so
do not re-try for now.

Best regards,

Phil

Added a -p flag to the mkdir call in the JAXP compilation script to
create any necessary parents, solves the problem Chris reported.
Downloaded and imported the latest JTidy CVS source into the
project. Adapted Ant build to compile with Windows Sun JDK.

Checked in HtmlAndRdfMimeTypeOnlyRule to allow parsing of
RDF/RSS content. Added a debugging comment to
RdfStoreWriterPlugin to debug test crawls using a new RDF
indexer configuration for JSpider.

Added an explicit Latin 1 encoding argument to the JTidy
compilation script, solves the problem Chris reported. Imported the
GNU JAXP 1.3 release to the project and reworked the compilation
script. This version has a number of awkward new co-dependencies
amongst the packages, but ultimately got compilation to complete
using Cygwin GCJ 3.4.4.

Added a source distribution target to the Ant build file, and usage
notes to the copy filter files. The Ant JAXP build now fails on
Windows using the Sun JDK 1.4, probably because of a conflict
with its own JAXP implementation.
