Bruno,

I have decided to adopt this method. Provided GNU jar is first on 
your path it should kick in. You can verify this with the -V 
argument, which is not supported by the Sun version. The Sun version 
will give an error message followed by the standard help page.

Incidentally, the MKDoc host seems to have been down for the past few 
minutes.
