This would mean in practice that 'news-index' pages that are marked up
with appropriate Audience metadata will be aggregated by the *Headlines*
component. I don't think this is a major problem.
Maybe it makes sense to change the name of the *Headlines* component now
that it is used to aggregate the *TimeRange* components too. Perhaps
call them *List* components ?
Below, I have made a redraft of the component:
--- List components ---------------------------------------------------
Use this component to collect, index and list the *Title*s and
*Description*s of all or matching documents in a specific section of the
site. You can set this component to list documents that contain
*TimeRange* components only. Further you can set this component to list
documents that match a specific *Audience* type only.
Section of the site from which to form a list
-----------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------
Enter here the base path on the section of the site, Eg. '/news/' ( If
you wish to form a list of the whole site, enter '/'. )
Title
-----------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------
Enter here the title you wish to give the list, Eg. 'What's News' ,
'Upcoming Events'.
Number of List Items
------

------
Enter the number of documents that you wished to be listed.
Index Mode
-----------------
Newest Documents
Upcoming Events
-----------------
Choose 'Newest Documents' to list the latest documents created. Choose
'Upcoming Events' to list those documents that contain *TimeRange*
components.
Audience Match
On / Off
----------
Children
| Teachers | ( <------ Ideally grayed-out unless 'On' )
Parents
----------
You can restrict the list to display only documents that match one or
more *Audience* types. ( Keep your 'Ctrl' key depressed if you wish to
select more than one *Audience* type.)
