[MKDoc-dev] No authentication on www.*?

Hello all.  I'm working on the user-group project and I want to make
sure I'm headed down the right path.  As far as I can tell in MKDoc
1.6 logged-in users only use the users.* base URL and never the www.*
base URL.  I draw this conclusion from the fact that the login link on
www.* points to users.* and that the authentication module
(MKDoc::Handler::Authentication) only runs on users.*.

If I'm right then I'll need to make sure that documents assigned to
groups can only be accessed via users.* and then only by users in the
right group.  Does that make sense?
