We have something similar for new users who signup and get a
homepage to edit, $ENV{MKD__ACCOUNT_HOMEPAGE_CONTENT} defines a text
file that is slurped-up and used as the initial content.

I'm preferring 2, we add to the existing Headlines component,
because I do think the list of components is too long. We could
take the opportunity to rename it Listings.

I'd like to hear what Chris thinks since he is likely to have an
opinion.

At some point I'd like to merge the RSS component as well since the
functionality is identical to Headlines.
